Kapil Sharma is not at all able to escape from this bad period; his fight with Sunil Grover has put him in unpleasant situations. Problems are pouring in one after the other, and there’s no relief for Kapil.

Absence of Sunil Grover has led to a negative impact on “The Kapil Sharma Show”; ratings of his show have considerably dropped, because the gigs aren’t as funny as before. Fans are missing their favorite stars and want them back at any cost.

We all are aware about the fact that there’s no replacement for Sunil Grover, Ali Asgar and Chandan Prabhakar. Their humor and comic timing is incomparable; it seems even Sony has realized this, and is in no mood to continue with the show without them. Due to this tiff, Kapil’s deal with Sony worth Rs 106 crores is at stake! After suffering from low TRPs in the last 2 episodes, Sony channel has issued an ultimatum to Kapil.

Latest reports say that Kapil’s contract renewal has been put on a hold now; earlier, there were speculations that Sony is renewing Kapil’s contract and is paying him Rs 106 crores, but considering the dip in ratings due to absence of vital characters, Sony has changed its mind.

According to reports by TOI, Sony has not yet renewed the contract but has given a 1 month extension to Kapil Sharma’s show to get things right.

Buzz is that if Kapil sorts out everything and normalizes things in a month, Sony might consider renewing the contract. However, if things remain the same, the channel will not continue with the show, because it cannot afford low TRPs.

The contract renewal depends on Sunil Grover, Chandan Prabhakar, Ali Asgar and Sugandha Mishra; if they return to the show, Sony will sign the deal. Do you think they’ll come back? If they don’t, it’s a BIG LOSS for Kapil Sharma as Rs 106 crores is not a small amount.
