Rani Mukerji kick starts shooting for ‘Hichki’, Is she is playing a school teacher?

Rani Mukerji is all set to be back on the big screen after taking a sabbatical to enjoy motherhood.

The actress, who was last seen in Pradeep Sarkar’s delectably slick ‘Mardaani,’ had been on a maternity leave, to tend to her daughter Adira, has finally decided to return to the big-screen, with Siddharth P Malhotra’s ‘Hichki’.

Today, the movie has finally gone on floors and the official Twitter page of Yesh Raj Films shared a short and sweet video, where Rani is seen writing on the blackboard with a chalk, “Shoot Starts Today!!!” In the end of the video, we can see Rani flashing a gorgeous smile.

However, one can’t help but notice how much of a school teacher she looks liek in the video.

When the film was announced, in an official statement, Rani had said, “I was looking for a script that would challenge and excite me, and Hichki came my way. Each of us has a weakness that pulls us back. It could be a disability or any condition but if we just look at it as simply a hiccup, we can emerge as a winner. It won’t come in the way of achieving our dreams. Hichki is built on this positive premise and I decided to take it up.”

‘Hichki’ will revolve around Rani Mukerji’s character. She is depicted as a woman who had turned her biggest weakness into her biggest strength. ‘Hichki’ will be Siddharth P Malhotra’s second movie as a director after ‘We Are Family’.
