For a while now, start-ups have been viewed as the most exciting entrants in the job industry. Companies often poach talented candidates from reputed firms by offering lucrative sums to get ahead in the field. eChai Ventures, a start-up social network that hosts engaging entrepreneurial programmes in India, will conduct a demo session this week.
Around 12 tech start-ups from the city will be selected to share their ideas for five minutes, followed by an interactive session. Since the Mumbai-based platform curates information about firms across the world and is aware of the general trends among start-ups, it will guide budding entrepreneurs at every step.
The demo day is also a showcase of innovative products and possible ventures of the community. It is the perfect stage for start-ups to network, receive feedback, bag potential financers and engage with customers. In fact, eChai recently launched a membership plan where guests will get regular alerts (via emails) about the latest trends in the start-up world, get access to popular entrepreneurs, and an opportunity to collaborate with them, leading to better visibility. A detailed account of selected demo start-ups will be circulated before the showcase interviews. Entrepreneurs from all over India will be present at the session.
